Contests & Giveaways
Checkmate Coatings will conduct all contests and giveaways substantially as described in these rules. Each participant agrees as follows:
- No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Unless otherwise specified, only legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older with a valid Social Security number at the time of entry are eligible to participate in Checkmate Coatings contests.
- Unless otherwise specified, our contests are open to the general public except for employees of Checkmate Coatings, their immediate family members, marketing partners, and vendors. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others.
- Contests and giveaways promoted on Checkmate Coating’s social media channels on Facebook and Instagram are coordinated independently and are not associated with Facebook or Instagram.
- Potential contest/giveaway winners will be selected by Checkmate Coatings in its sole discretion. If it is determined that a candidate is not eligible for receipt of a prize, in Checkmate Coating’s sole judgment and discretion, another candidate may be selected for eligibility.
- All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All those who win a prize or prizes valued $600 or more will be issued an IRS Form 1099 to report their winnings.
- All prizes are awarded “as is.” Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for cash or other prizes.
- All entrants and winners agree that Checkmate Coatings, their affiliates, employees, and representatives shall have no liability for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property incurred by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest and/or by the use or non-use of any prize received in connection with this contest.
- Checkmate Coatings reserves the right to limit the number of times an individual may enter a contest or giveaway.
- Checkmate Coatings reserves the right to require participants to respond to communication (by direct message, email or phone) from Checkmate Coatings in order to win and collect their prize.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures resulting from causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, governmental actions, or technical failures.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at admin@checkmatecoatings.com. All disputes are governed by the laws of Florida, United States.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
